Quality Management

At Ferngrove Pharmaceuticals we believe that quality and safety cannot be “built into” products during manufacturing. Our quality program begins with a comprehensive Quality System that covers all aspects of everything we do – from sourcing and testing of raw materials, through all stages of manufacturing, analysis of manufactured products, “Release for Sale” (by the TGA Authorised Person), warehousing and storage and all associated systems and process.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT

  • At FPA we believe that quality and safety cannot be built into products on the manufacturing line. Our quality and safety standards begin with the sourcing and testing of all raw materials and continues through to the testing and review of finished products.
  • In recognition of our achievements, FPA was named the country’s Best Quality Manufacturer by Complementary Medicines Australia in 2015 and 2016.

AUSTRALIAN QUALITY

  • Australia is well known for requiring the highest standards of control over the formulation, manufacture and marketing of complementary medicines.
  • The Australian Government’s Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) regulates and oversees the industry.
  • FPA is certified by the TGA to produce complementary medicines for Australian and export markets

QUALITY IS COMPREHENSIVE

  • materials – we use advanced testing equipment to ensure the quality, authenticity and potency of the materials we use. This includes analytical “fingerprinting” of herbal materials
  • manufacturing and storage – governed by the TGA’s strict code of GMP, this code ensures complementary medicines are produced to the same standards as pharmaceutical drugs.
  • finished products –  have to be tested to prove that what’s  on the label is in the bottle
